Description

AWS Solutions is seeking a Senior User Researcher to bring impactful, actionable, and scalable research insights to teams innovating next-gen agentic AI products. You will work closely with product stakeholders, enterprise and end users to ensure that new innovations, features, and enhancements are rooted in customer needs, while exemplifying UX excellence across AWS.

Key responsibilities include

Conduct research that informs partner product teams throughout the development lifecycle, understanding customer needs, behaviors, and implicit needs.

Apply various methodologies of generative, evaluative, and validation user experience research, demonstrating impact on product decisions.

Synthesize insights for quick action by product and engineering teams, balancing speed and quality.

Engage with organizational leaders, customers, and stakeholders to align research with business priorities and product milestones.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated excellent communication skills and a proven track record in user research.

Qualifications

7+ years of success leading impactful User Research projects.

BS in HCDE, Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, or related field.

Portfolio demonstrating research work and deliverables.

Preferred

MS in related fields.

Experience with complex system design considerations.

Knowledge of web standards and accessibility.

Experience working remotely and in collaborative environments.
