As a pivotal member of the Advertiser UX team, you will play a critical role in shaping the B2B advertising experience for millions of advertisers globally. Our team is leading the charge in AI-augmented research, having developed tools that drastically reduce research time from tens of minutes to mere seconds—enabling swifter insights and impactful decision-making. Your research will directly inform product strategy, design direction, and the overall advertiser experience across Amazon’s advertising ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the complete research lifecycle, driving strategic impact in our B2B advertising setup.
  • Utilize your expertise in various research methodologies to solve intricate business challenges, enhancing every phase from objective-setting to synthesizing insights.
  • Transform complex datasets into actionable insights that influence product decisions and identify market opportunities based on advertiser needs.
  • Articulate customer challenges with clarity and provide evidence-based recommendations.
  • Leverage AI-enhanced research tools to deliver high-quality findings through engaging reports and authentic user evidence.
  • Communicate how research impacts product roadmaps and design decisions to cross-functional partners, creating artifacts that resonate with team members from engineers to senior leadership.
  • Foster alignment among stakeholders around customer insights that inspire change across the advertiser experience.

In a B2B environment, your contributions will shape how millions of advertisers interact with Amazon's advertising solutions, influencing the tools used by brands and agencies across multiple markets.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of demonstrated success leading User Research projects with quantifiable impact.
  • Depth of experience in all research aspects including study design, recruiting, moderation, analysis, and reporting.
  • A portfolio showcasing your research experience and deliverables (e.g., study plans, reports, personas).
  • Bachelor's degree in HCDE, Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, or a related field.
  • Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to bring product designs from concept to production.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Human Factors, HCDE, Cognitive Psychology or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication capabilities.
  • A track record of navigating ambiguous challenges with robust problem-solving skills.
  • 5+ years of planning, designing, developing, and delivering consumer software experiences.

The base salary for this position ranges as follows: USA, NY, New York - $167,400.00 to $226,500.00 annually; USA, WA, Seattle - $152,200.00 to $205,900.00 annually.
