About This Role

As a Lead UX Researcher, you will play a pivotal role in revolutionizing the storytelling experience. You will design and execute comprehensive user studies aimed at uncovering deep insights into listener behaviors and preferences. Your customer obsession will guide every research question, fueled by your profound understanding and curiosity about the customer experience. Just when our products seem fully understood, you’ll create new studies to reveal hidden user needs.

You excel in immersing yourself in customers' experiences to extract valuable insights and drive meaningful innovations. As a specialist in research methodologies, you lead teams to valuable discoveries by exploring both overarching patterns and detailed nuances. Your enthusiasm for synthesizing findings is matched only by your eagerness to share actionable insights with your team. You strive to refine your research techniques and expand your analytical toolbox, but it is the collaborative journey of discovery with your team that truly inspires you.

As a Lead UX Researcher, you will

  • Oversee all aspects of user research, including study design, recruitment, moderation, analysis, reporting, and communication, making critical decisions to evaluate effective user research methodologies.
  • Design and conduct a diverse range of studies, from quick usability tests on platforms like UserTesting to in-depth diary studies on dScout, uncovering users’ core needs, motivations, and goals.
  • Experiment with and integrate AI technologies throughout the research process, enhancing product development with tools such as storyboards and prototypes.
  • Cultivate expertise in the entertainment and media domain by analyzing prototypes, competitive products, and industry trends to enhance your product intuition and guide your research.
  • Effectively communicate research findings and their implications for products and future user research initiatives.
