Human Factors Specialist - Design and Development

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Human Factors Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will contribute to the design of human-machine systems and products, ensuring safe and successful human operation.
Main Responsibilities
- Define system performance requirements for pilots, loadmasters, and maintainers.
- Apply human performance principles to design human-machine systems and products.
- Develop research methodologies and analysis plans to test and evaluate developmental prototypes.
- Cordinate across interdisciplinary teams to integrate HE considerations into overall system design and development.
- Participate in lab and aircraft evaluation and testing of new and/or enhanced cockpit and cargo compartment hardware and software designs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, psychology, human factors or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in human engineering.
- Experience with military standards (e.g. MIL-STD-1472, MIL-STD-1474).
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
