Human Factors Specialist - Design and Development

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Factors Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will contribute to the design of human-machine systems and products, ensuring safe and successful human operation.

Main Responsibilities

  • Define system performance requirements for pilots, loadmasters, and maintainers.
  • Apply human performance principles to design human-machine systems and products.
  • Develop research methodologies and analysis plans to test and evaluate developmental prototypes.
  • Cordinate across interdisciplinary teams to integrate HE considerations into overall system design and development.
  • Participate in lab and aircraft evaluation and testing of new and/or enhanced cockpit and cargo compartment hardware and software designs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, psychology, human factors or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in human engineering.
  • Experience with military standards (e.g. MIL-STD-1472, MIL-STD-1474).
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
