As a human factors and integration engineer, you know the importance of ensuring systems and applications work together. You''''re eager to apply your consulting experience and national defense weapon systems knowledge to develop creative solutions. On our team, you''''ll design, develop, and implement solutions for sof tware integration projects across functions or between organizations that''''ll directly impact weapon systems. Using applications integration and Agile Framework, you''''ll work alongside sof tware development engineers and warfighters to integrate advanced capabilities into fifth generation and future systems. You''''ll use tools like Docker, Kubernetes, JIRA, or Confluence to plan, organize, and c ond uct integration projects that meet design specifications and standards from inception to completion. In this role, you''''ll impact how the U.S. Air Force client integrates new capabilities into fifth generation systems in support of modernization initiatives. You Have: * 5+ years of experience working in Human Engineering as part of an integrated product team throughout the product lifecycle, including requirements engineering, detailed design, testing, and qualification
- Experience exercising critical thi nk ing and innovative problem-solving in relation to strengthening Human Engineering and contributing to the Human Engineering growth strategy and capability roadmaps
- Experience with engineering leadership in major organizations
- Knowledge of the areas of User Centered Design, Human Performance, Workload Assessments, Human Systems integration, Human Factors Engineering, Knowledge Engineering, and Usability
- Ability to lead, develop, and motivate a team of engineers to deliver Human Engineering solutions, including Human Factors, Ergonomics, Usability, UX, and Human Computer Interaction, in the design, development, production, and implementation of processes and products * Ability to lead projects or initiatives at the direction of the engineering organization to implement process and product improvements for Human Engineering
- TS / SCI clearance
- Bachelor''''s degree in Human Factor Engineering, Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics Nice If You Have: * Experience with Human Factor Engineering in the aerospace domain
- Experience developing and maintaining strategic partnerships with internal and external customers, stakeholders, peers, and direct reports
- Knowledge of Human Engineering standards for design, testing, and certification such as MIL-STL-1472, MIL-STD-1474, MIL-STD-1787, MIL-STD-3009, MIL-STD 411F, and JSSG-2010
- Knowledge of the defense acquisition process
- Ability to derive Human Factors and Human Engineering requirements * Master''''s degree in a Human Factor Engineering- related field

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual''''s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,100.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen''''s total compensation package for employees. Work Model
