User Experience Designer
Consider
We are looking for a versatile UX Designer to own the end-to-end design lifecycle for our next-generation platform. You will move fluidly between deep user research and pixel-perfect UI execution, helping us define the visual language for a product that balances AI automation with human trust.
Core Responsibilities
- End-to-End Ownership: Lead the entire design process from discovery and user research to high-fidelity prototyping and final handoff.
- AI Integration: Design intuitive patterns for AI agents and automated workflows, ensuring they feel proactive and trustworthy rather than intrusive.
- Prototyping & Validation: Rapidly build interactive models to test with real users, iterating quickly based on behavioral data and usability feedback.
- Design Systems: Expand and maintain a scalable design system to ensure consistency across web and mobile interfaces.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work daily with founders, engineers, and product managers to solve complex user problems under tight startup timelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to translate abstract business goals into elegant, user-first product solutions.
- Modern Tooling: Expertise in Figma, AI-assisted design tools, and prototyping platforms like Protopie or Framer.
- Technical Literacy: Strong understanding of technical constraints (HTML/CSS, React, or mobile frameworks) to ensure designs are implementable.
- Communication: Exceptional storytelling skills to present design rationale to stakeholders and the executive team.
- Ethics & Trust: Familiarity with ethical design principles, prioritizing user privacy and avoiding "dark patterns".
Compensation & Benefits (2026 Market Rates)
- Base Salary: $110,000 – $160,000 per year, depending on experience.
- Equity: Competitive stock option package (standard for SF startups).
- Perks: Comprehensive health/dental/vision, 401(k), and hybrid work flexibility.
How to Apply
Interested candidates should submit a portfolio highlighting 2–3 case studies that demonstrate complex problem-solving and real-world impact, rather than just final screens.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $104, $125,630.30 per year
Benefits
- Dental insurance
