Position Overview Crux is on the lookout for an exceptionally talented Junior Human Factors Engineer.
Based in our Boston (US) office, you will be exposed to an array of exciting projects, ranging from medical devices to consumer and digital products, across all phases of development. Working closely with internal project teams and global clients to develop safe and usable devices, ensuring that user needs are considered early and often throughout the design process.
The role involves a range of activities such as desk and field research, use-related risk management, planning and conducting Human Factors studies and compiling results into clear and concise reports, appropriate for client teams and in accordance with regulatory standards.

What We’re Looking For Essential Strong report writing skills
Proactive attitude.
Exceptional planning and organisational skills.
Excellent presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work within multiple cross-disciplinary teams and be client facing.
Understanding of Human Factors techniques and usability principles.
An ability to synthesise a lot of information and distil it into meaningful design recommendations.
On track to achieve, or have recently graduated with, a high scoring degree in Human Factors orrelevant accredited degree program.
Desirable Interest or experience in a consultancy environment.
Interest or experience in the medical, pharma or health industries.
