CyberCore is looking for a Human Factors Engineer 1

The team collaborates with developers, managers, and system engineers to ensure intelligence products remain modern, cutting-edge, and highly usable. The team researches and documents user workflows, designs intuitive front-end systems, creates mockups, engages with users for feedback, and works closely with multiple development teams to enhance analyst tools. The team uses tools such as PenPot, Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, and Microsoft Office.

Required Skills

5 years with a Bachelor's in Computer Science (or related field)

Experience conducting user research through surveys, focus groups, and usability testing to gather and analyze user feedback

Ability to translate user requirements (personas, workflows, task flows, and user scenarios) into wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes, and detailed interface design specifications

Experience collaborating closely with application developers, product designers, and process engineers to deliver intuitive, user-centered solutions

Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe XD, PenPot, or similar platforms

Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required

Advanced degrees and certifications related to Human Factors Engineering or Human Centered Computing are a plus.

The salary range for this role is $60,000 - $150,000. This range is a good-faith estimate that reflects various experience levels. At CyberCore, we consider multiple factors when determining compensation, including the specific role and its responsibilities, the candidate's professional experience, geographic location, education, and relevant skills. This range is not a guarantee of salary, as final compensation may also be influenced by contractual requirements and other considerations.
