Senior UX Researcher Job Description
We are a user-centered design and research group expanding quickly at e-solutions, our Digital Workplace partner in Seattle. We're looking for an experienced and influential Mid or Senior UX Researcher to create great employee experiences and push our solutions to the next level.
About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to make an impact on both the product and how the organization works. As a Senior UX Researcher, you'll plan, lead, and socialize research studies to drive employee experiences with our technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner closely with designers, developers, product managers, business partners, and senior leadership to conduct end-to-end product research studies that inform decision-making.
- Create a 0-3 month research roadmap to drive the way our product organization understands and designs for our store employees.
- Develop research and insights for scrum product teams, owning the development of research roadmaps and driving requirements with designers.
- Packaging insights into tools and assets for designers, product managers, and business stakeholders to leverage.
- Drive leadership buy-in and support by regularly meeting, presenting findings, connecting to business outcomes, and quantifying business value.
Requirements
- 5+ years corporate UX Research experience.
- 5+ years embedded scrum team designer or in an iterative approach.
- Experience with tools like Optimal Workshop, Figma, Qualtrics, wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps.
- A solid understanding of usability studies, qualitative (e.g., In-depth interviews, concept & usability testing, card sorting, co-design) and quantitative research methods (e.g., surveying).
- Strong experience with user-centered design (UCD), user research, user testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability, and accessibility concerns.
