UX Researcher / Content Strategist

Overview
We are looking for an experienced UX Researcher / Content Strategist to join our team that supports our industry-leading API management platform. As a UX Researcher, you will play a critical role in understanding our users and guiding the design and development of new features and enhancements to the platform. This person will be a motivated, self starter with good communication skills who is able to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Conduct user research through methods such as interviews, surveys, usability testing, and observational studies to understand our users' goals, behaviors, pain points, and desires.
- Identify and recruit appropriate participants for user studies based on target user profiles.
- Design and moderate remote and in-person user research sessions, analyzing findings to uncover insights and make actionable recommendations for design and product improvements.
- Create artifacts to communicate research findings, including summaries, presentations, personas, journey maps, and reports.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and designers to ensure user research is effectively incorporated into product requirements, specifications, and design.
- Stay up-to-date on UX and HCD best practices
- Stay up-to-date on trends in API and developer experience.
Qualifications
- Ability to receive DHS EOD suitability.
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Bachelors degree preferred
- 3+ years of hands-on experience conducting UX research. Experience with API developers/engineers is a plus.
- Possession of strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a high-speed delivery focused environment.
- Ability to work on a fully remote team and maintain delivery tempo.
- Ability to learn quickly.
- Strong understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
- Ability to communicate research findings clearly to inform design and product development.
- Comfortable working with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
- Passionate about understanding users and advocating for their needs.
- Proficiency with research tools and software.
- Sharing your portfolio is encouraged.
