About the Recruiting Units

Universities, research institutes, and listed companies in Jiangsu Province, China are recruiting outstanding overseas PhD holders in science and engineering to engage in industry–university–research collaboration.

Positions can be fully remote or part-time online; relocation to China is not mandatory. The institutions emphasize international development and are committed to building world-class research teams.

Research Fields

Applicants with strong or interdisciplinary backgrounds are welcome. Research areas include, but are not limited to:

• Biomedicine: cell therapy, molecular immunology, biopharmaceuticals, drug development
• Artificial Intelligence: machine learning, computer vision, intelligent manufacturing
• New Energy & Materials: energy storage, photovoltaics, hydrogen energy, advanced manufacturing
• Environment & Sustainability: carbon neutrality technologies, green chemistry, environmental governance
• Other hard-tech fields: next-generation IT, high-end equipment manufacturing, new materials, digital creativity, etc.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct independent or collaborative high-level research and publish quality papers
• Apply for research grants and funding
• Supervise graduate students or postdoctoral researchers (if applicable)
• Collaborate with domestic and international teams to promote technology transfer and commercialization

Salary & Benefits

• Annual salary: $100,000-$300,000 (negotiable)
• Research start-up funding: up to $400,000
• Housing/settlement allowance: up to $400,000
