Intern UX Design and Research

What youll do

As an intern at NU.nl, you will work on improving the user and reading experience for millions of Dutch people. You will be part of the team responsible for the development of NU.nls apps and website. You will focus daily on mapping out user needs and desires. You will document user problems and new ideas, allowing you to assess with the team which points need improvement or further research. There is also room to gain experience with other teams within NU.nl, such as Product Management, marketing, and IT. This is a unique opportunity to enhance and apply your creativity and innovation skills in a dynamic environment.

Tasks

Mapping out user needs

Setting up and conducting user research

Analyzing feedback and devising solutions

Contributing ideas for website and app development

Documenting problems and new ideas

Collaborating with other teams such as marketing and IT

Contributing to improving the reading experience.

What you’ll need

HBO or university student with a UX Design, media, or communication background

Strong communication skills

Affinity with news

Aware of innovations within media

Available for approximately five months

Start date September 2025

Willingness to work in Amsterdam

Team player with initiative.
