About the Role

TeleHelp Україна is looking for motivated individuals eager to gain hands-on experience in web design and no-code website configuration. As part of our team, you'll help develop and maintain a user-friendly patient website that facilitates access to our TeleHelp service. This platform connects volunteer doctors with Ukrainians unable to reach healthcare services due to the war.

Ideal candidates should be comfortable using computers, and experience with website builders like Wix or Squarespace is a plus. If you're unfamiliar with these tools, don’t worry—we provide quick and easy training! We also use Discord for communication and collaboration.

Squarespace supports various custom coding options, including HTML, Markdown, CSS, and JavaScript. Depending on volunteer availability, we may explore advanced customization to enhance patient services and accessibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and customizing the TeleHelp website through mockups and design improvements.
• Create and maintain website content, including translations (for bilingual Ukrainian-English speakers).
• Debug, test, and optimize website performance for a seamless user experience.
• Collaborate with clinical and media teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Stay updated on best practices and new features in Squarespace and Weglot.
• Participate in strategy discussions (if available).
• Maintain a team diary to track availability and task progress.

Preferred Skills & Experience Technical & Design Experience (Optional but Helpful):

• General computer proficiency
• Experience with website-building tools (Squarespace, Wix, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of HTML, Markdown, CSS, or JavaScript
• UX design principles
• Translation tools (e.g., Weglot)
• Copywriting in English and Ukrainian
• Research and analysis skills
• Fundraising experience
