About the role

You will design and enhance the shipping experience across various digital products. As a Senior UX Designer, you’ll be a key member of one or more dedicated, cross-functional product teams where you deliver and iterate on high-quality UX designs, contribute to the growth vision, and help define the right strategies.

You’re a strategic thinker who helps drive user and business impact. You’ll contribute to increasing adoption and usage by exploring strategic themes such as Onboarding (for both new and existing customers), Support, Automation, Personalization, and Monetization (cross- and upsell). You’ll work closely with other teams and their UX designers to build the optimal shipping and platform experience for all customers — together creating a seamless and intuitive journey.

You’ll also be part of the broader FedEx UX team — an international group of designers and researchers responsible for the digital experience across all global FedEx products. The team is a collaborative community that empowers each other to do our best work and grow.

Drive change towards a digitally differentiating company that is design-led and empathy-driven. Drive global UX strategy and guide product design together with three high performing UX specialists.

Create experience visions, concepts, and detailed designs for scalable web solutions
Translate designs into implementation with product, business, and IT partners
Iterate on existing solutions to identify opportunities for increased user and business value

What You Bring to FedEx GDX

A big-picture view of the entire user journey — from beginning to end
9+ years of UX design experience working on complex web applications and websites
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in interaction design, multimedia design, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Deep expertise in Figma
A strong eye for detail and craftsmanship in design
Experience collaborating with business stakeholders and navigating technical constraints in large organizations
Experience working in Agile and Lean environments
An entrepreneurial mindset with a drive to make things better
A portfolio that demonstrates strong UX thinking, visual design, and impact
Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
A passion for data and familiarity with methods for validating design hypotheses — such as user testing, A/B testing, web analytics, personas, and journey mapping
