About the role

As the UX Research Lead, you will drive strategic user research across our product development lifecycle. You’ll define Jobs-to-be-Done, map user journeys, build personas, and run validation studies to inform design direction, feature prioritization, and product strategy. You’ll be a key voice in grounding decisions in real user needs and market realities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and design generative and evaluative research (e.g., interviews, surveys, usability tests).
• Define and articulate Jobs-to-be-Done (JTBD) for target user segments.
• Develop user journey maps and personas to capture motivations, pain points, and workflows.
• Run validation studies (prototype testing, A/B tests) to assess design concepts.
• Translate research findings into actionable insights for design, product, and leadership teams.
• Present research reports and strategic recommendations to stakeholders.
• Mentor junior researchers and evangelize a research-driven culture.
• Partner cross-functionally with product managers, designers, engineers, and business teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of UX research experience (or equivalent), including leadership.
• Deep expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
• Experience developing JTBD frameworks, personas, and journey maps.
• Track record of influencing product strategy through research.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience mentoring or leading a research team.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in HCI, Psychology, Anthropology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Salary Range: $110K-$160K
