Collaborates with software researchers and product owners across the company to conduct user Jobs to Be Done (JTBD), journey mapping, and design heuristic evaluation. Applies user research skills, including user interviews, usability testing, recruiting, synthesis, and analysis, to implement platform graphics and concept models aligned with consumer needs.

Primary Responsibilities

Designs and conducts customer research, identifies problems from the users’ perspective, develops insights and opportunity areas, and leads ideation and testing through prototypes.

Uses human-centered design to understand people, generate new offerings, and create new ideas.

Works closely with a team of software engineers, UX researchers, and product owners to improve client engagement.

Defines the design work and delivers business outcomes on the product team.

Designs and tests interfaces that facilitate human-computer interaction, maximizing usability of digital devices, websites, and software with a focus on aesthetics and design.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, Psychology, or a related field, with two (2) years of experience as a Senior User Experience Researcher or related role performing UX design for Web and Native applications.

Alternatively, a Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in the same fields with no experience required.

Skills and Knowledge

Candidate must possess

Expertise in identifying and prioritizing unmet business needs using qualitative methods such as interviews, ethnographic methodologies, Jobs-to-be-Done theory, and journey mapping.

Expertise in applying quantitative or statistical analysis methods (Regressions, ANOVA, T-Tests) using R or SPSS.

Expertise in advanced analysis techniques (cognitive psychology, decision making, personality assessments, behavioral patterns) in various demographic groups.

Experience in analyzing and synthesizing data from partners using SPSS or R.
