User Experience Researcher

UX Researcher

San Bruno, CA

6 months contract

Hybrid – M & F remote, T, W, Th – onsite

Pay Rate: $80-100/hr. on W2 (without benefits)

As a UX Researcher, you’ll collect and analyze user feedback to help shape engaging products and experiences. Conduct mixed-methods research (surveys, interviews, usability tests), analyze data, and share insights with cross-functional teams to inform product design.

Minimum role qualifications requirement

• 5 years of experience in an applied research setting, or similar.
• Experience with research design utilizing various methods (e.g., usability studies, contextual inquiry, surveys, etc.).
• Relevant product research experience, either in an end-to-end, usability, or generative setting.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

• Quantitative research (t-tests, ANOVA, regression) using R, Python, SPSS.
• Survey design, data cleaning, and tools like Qualtrics.
• At least one qualitative method (interviews, diary studies, ethnography).

Education

• M.A/M.S or Ph.D. in Psychology, Sociology, HCI/CS, or related field, or equivalent experience.
