Human Factors Systems Engineer Opportunity

The selected engineer may be responsible for multiple tasks within requirements, verification, and interfaces for the Sentinel program from an FHE/HSI perspective.

This position will be located in Huntsville, AL or Roy, Utah.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope (<6 years), with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time.
Demonstrated experience utilizing UI/UX design principles.
Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, and Engineering Scheduling tools or applications.
2 years of Systems Engineering experience.
2 years working in requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS).

Preferred Qualifications

Past/Active employment with MMIII or Sentinel Weapon Systems.
4 years of Systems engineering experience.
Experience with any of the following tools and languages: DOORS, Cameo, Teamcenter, CPLM, Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.).
Strong understanding and broad application of complex engineering systems (engineering standards, configuration management, material review board, process control, tooling, facilities, software, etc.) for the development of complex systems of systems.
Strong oral and written communication skills, including demonstrated experience with high-value customer presentations, with ability to focus on multiple projects with competing priorities.
Additional PQs.
Ability to build software prototypes for usability testing of candidate designs.
Experience with visual design of computer user interfaces.
Human Factors, Psychology, or similar degree.
Experience with Human Factors in a defense contracting environment (familiarity with Mil-Std-1472G and ANSI/HFES). DoD UI/UX Design Experience.
Demonstrated experience with prototyping/wireframing tools.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
