Unmanned Systems Integration Engineer

The role of the Human Systems Integration (HSI) Engineer is crucial in ensuring that unmanned systems are designed with human considerations in mind. This involves integrating information on physical and psychological characteristics to optimize the design of devices and systems for human use.

The HSI Engineer will conduct comprehensive analysis, design, and assessment of requirements, concepts, and resources across seven domains: manpower, personnel, training, human factors engineering, habitability, survivability, and environment, occupational health and safety.

This position requires a deep understanding of human systems integration principles and experience in applying them to real-world problems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, physics, or mathematics, and a proven track record of delivering results in complex systems development programs.

The Unmanned Systems Analysis Portfolio conducts rigorous and objective analyses to enable the Navy and other DoD organizations to make informed decisions, plans, and strategies. We support clients across the undersea and naval special warfare enterprises, including those within resourcing and requirements, acquisition, and science and technology.
