Overview

Handshake is recruiting exceptional design professionals to help create world-class online shopping experiences. If you frequently shop online, have experience in user experience or brand design, and take pride in producing high-quality, visually compelling work, you could be an excellent fit for our team.

As a MOVE program participant, you’ll help advance the creative capabilities of Large Language Models (LLMs) in visual storytelling, business branding, and professional communication. The Handshake AI Fellowship program runs all year, with opportunities varying by design specialization.

Details

• The position is remote and asynchronous - work independently from wherever you are.
• Flexible hours and the ability to work remotely, with no minimum commitment to hours.
• Project work includes and is not limited to developing domain-specific prompts/inputs and evaluating LLM responses.
• Dedicate time researching topics that are interesting to you, with the assistance of AI.
• Learn new skills while contributing to the changing world of AI across various disciplines.
• Placement into a project will be dependent on project availability.

Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor's degree and have at least 2/3 years of work experience
• Must have full-time work experience as a brand designer, UX designer, human-centered designer, and related fields
• Must have a portfolio of business slides to showcase
• Ability to work independently and asynchronously within a distributed team and with AI research partners.
• Belief that your creative insight can surpass current AI in visualizing and explaining business concepts.

Work authorization information

F-1 students who are eligible for CPT or OPT may be eligible for projects on Handshake AI. Work with your Designated School Official to determine your eligibility. If your school requires a CPT course, Handshake AI may not meet your school’s requirements. STEM OPT is not supported. for more information on what types of work authorizations are supported on Handshake AI.
