Join our dynamic Creation team as a Senior UX Researcher, where you will be instrumental in defining the user experience for generative AI (GENAI) on a prominent social media platform. Your research will form the backbone of our innovation, uncovering hidden user needs, shaping product strategy, and ensuring that GENAI features are market-ready and user-centric.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including researchers, designers, product managers, and engineers, to deliver products that make a significant impact in GENAI initiatives.
- Design and implement comprehensive research roadmaps in sync with product timelines and goals, working both independently and in team settings.
- Lead and manage comprehensive research studies throughout all phases of the product development cycle, from initial concept to actionable insights.
- Drive product strategy and planning through data-driven insights that inform the development and enhancement of GENAI features.
- Manage relationships with external research vendors to enhance the team's research capabilities and ensure top-quality outcomes.
- Facilitate quick feedback loops on GENAI prototypes, enabling rapid iterations and informed decision-making based on user insights.
Must-Have Skills
- Proven experience in executing successful research projects within large-scale product environments.
- Demonstrated ability to independently oversee research projects from start to finish, ensuring efficient scoping, planning, execution, and delivery of insights.
- Strong collaboration skills to align cross-functional teams towards common goals and drive project momentum.
- Extensive expertise in qualitative research methods and the ability to leverage data to substantiate hypotheses and guide product direction.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with a knack for transforming complex insights into clear narratives suitable for varied audiences.
- Capable of managing time effectively while balancing multiple priorities with sound judgment.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with AI technologies, particularly in product research and development contexts.
- Proficiency in advanced quantitative research methodologies and analytics.
Location: Remote (NYC strongly preferred)
Role Type: Contract - 6 Month Position
Expected Hours: 40 per week
