Overview

This role is for a UX/UI Designer who thrives as a thoughtful problem-solver, clear communicator, and collaborative partner. You will design high-quality, user-centered digital experiences across web platforms, owning well-scoped work independently while growing into a trusted design partner.

The position is onsite in Glendale, CA and works closely with senior designers and a UX Director to balance usability, business goals, and brand excellence.

Type: Direct hire, fully on-site

Schedule: Regular day hours

Pay: $115,000 - $125,000, depending on experience

UX/UI Designer Duties

  • Own UX and UI design for defined initiatives from concept through delivery.
  • Translate requirements and constraints into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and development-ready interfaces.
  • Clearly communicate design rationale, tradeoffs, and decisions to designers, engineers, product partners, and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with senior designers on complex or ambiguous problems and participate actively in design critiques.
  • Apply and help evolve design systems while maintaining strong visual craft, consistency, and brand alignment.
  • Manage multiple priorities while balancing speed, quality, and impact.
  • Proactively communicate progress, risks, and open questions throughout the design process.
  • Stay current on UX/UI trends, tools, and best practices, using feedback to iterate and grow professionally.

UX/UI Designer Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience designing UX/UI for web or digital products, supported by a strong portfolio of shipped work.
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma, including components, auto layout, interactive prototyping, and shared libraries.
  • Strong UX fundamentals across user flows, hierarchy, accessibility, interaction patterns, and UI craft.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight while knowing when to seek alignment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to tailor design explanations to different audiences.
  • Comfort receiving feedback, engaging in constructive dialogue, and iterating quickly.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with design systems, cross-functional collaboration, research or usability testing, premium consumer-facing products, stakeholder presentations, or basic HTML/CSS and SEO principles is a plus.
