The Team Lead, Research Solutions role plays a pivotal role in driving the success of Prodege’s most strategic market research projects while leading and developing a team of Project Managers. Serving as both a team leader and direct project owner, this role bridges the needs of high-value clients with the capabilities of internal delivery teams to ensure flawless execution and exceptional client service. By embodying the ProdegeWay, the Research Solutions Manager fosters long-term client relationships, delivers white-glove service, and upholds the highest standards of operational excellence. This role is critical to the continued growth of the West Coast team, requiring deep market research expertise, collaborative leadership, and a steadfast commitment to client success.

Detailed Job Duties

  • Strategic Client Partnership & Escalation Leadership
  • Serve as the primary operational point of contact for strategic West Coast accounts, building strong, long-term client relationships.
  • Act as the first point of contact for escalations; personally lead investigations, resolve issues, and ensure clients are fully satisfied with outcomes and action plans.
  • Personally manage high-priority or complex projects and oversee projects led by your team, ensuring consistent delivery of a “white glove” client experience.
  • Maintain clear, proactive communication with clients, provide optimization recommendations, and ensure their objectives are consistently met.
  • End-to-End Project Execution, Quality, & Operational Excellence
  • Drive flawless execution of market research projects from proposal collaboration and design guidance through fielding, data delivery, visualization, invoicing, and debriefs.
  • Create clear project roadmaps that define goals, timelines, stakeholders, and critical milestones.
  • Meticulously manage quality, timelines, margins, and overall operational rigor across all assigned work.
  • Proactively identify risks and resolve challenges, stepping in to support PMs and global teams in high-pressure situations.
  • Apply deep expertise in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies and best practices across the full research lifecycle.
  • Project Management Team Leadership, Coaching & Development
  • Oversee the daily operations, workload, and expected pace of a team of Project Managers.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and skill development to accelerate PM growth and elevate the quality and consistency of project delivery.
  • Empower PMs to work independently while maintaining high standards for client satisfaction, communication, and executional excellence.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Proposal Support
  • Partner closely with Account Directors during proposal development, offering design input, feasibility guidance, and methodological recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to ensure seamless alignment, smooth execution, and unified project delivery processes.
  • Continuous Improvement, Process Innovation & Operational Scalability
  • Champion the refinement and development of processes, methodologies, and technology solutions that elevate efficiency, consistency, quality, and client value.
  • Identify and implement scalable improvements that strengthen operational excellence across project delivery functions.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging experimentation and iteration in how work is executed.

Additional Management Responsibilities

  • Performance Management: setting and managing goals, on-going coaching, corrective action, annual reviews, rewards/recognition, and team/individual development

What does SUCCESS look like?

Success in this role is passionately leading a highly skilled and motivated team of Project Managers to consistently deliver a collaborative and white-glove service, delighting our strategic clients through robust relationship management and the flawless, end-to-end execution of even the most complex market research projects. You will ensure the meticulous management of key accounts from project win to data delivery, upholding the highest quality standards, timeliness, and budget adherence. Beyond flawless operational execution, you will champion continuous improvement, proactively identifying innovative solutions and refining processes to elevate our delivery capabilities, ultimately driving client satisfaction and contributing to the growth and stellar reputation of our team.

The MUST Haves: (ex: job cannot be done without these skills, education, experience, certifications, licenses)

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Five or more (5+) years of market research experience, ideally within the project management function or with relevant experience of managing research projects from inception to completion
  • One or more (1+) years of leading a team and managing direct reports
  • Market Research Expertise: Knowledge of market research concepts within the quantitative online market research stages.
  • People Management: Experience managing people, developing their skills and competencies as well as fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
  • Effective Communication and Relationship Building Skills: Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with various audiences, build strong relationships with our clients, various internal stakeholders, and our globally dispersed team.
  • Meticulous Operational & Project Management: Highly organized with strong follow-through, solid time management, and multitasking skills. Sound knowledge of project management concepts and tools; ensuring meticulous attention to detail, quality of deliverables and timelines.
  • Analytical Acumen and Critical Thinking: Strong analytical aptitude, results-oriented, and sound critical thinking abilities to proactively identify issues, provide solutions and ensure accuracy across all project deliverables.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient with G-Suite (GMail, Docs, Sheets etc.) as well as the Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with survey scripting tools (e.g. Decipher, Qualtrics, Confirmit)

The Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with CRM-based solutions (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce) and Data Visualization tools (e.g., Crunch, Tableau, Infotools).
  • Familiarity with Qualitative Research.

Pay Transparency

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $105,000 to $115,000. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include, but are not limited to; the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, the type and length of knowledge and skills for the position, education, training, etc. Prodege is a multi-state employer and final compensation within this range could be impacted by work location. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.

Employees receive flexible PTO, as well as paid sick leave prorated based on hire date. US Employees have eight paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
