Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in an applied research setting, or a similar role.

Experience in programming languages used for data manipulation and computational statistics (e.g., Python, R, MATLAB, C++, Java, or Go).

Preferred qualifications

Master's degree or PhD in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Statistics, Psychology, Anthropology, a related field or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of experience conducting UX research on products.
7 years of experience working with executive leadership (e.g., Director level and above).
5 years of experience managing projects, and working in a large organization.

As a User Experience Researcher (UXR), you’ll help your team of UXers, product managers, and engineers understand user needs. You’ll explore user behaviors and motivations by conducting primary research such as field studies, interviews, diary studies, participatory workshops, ethnography, surveys, usability testing, and logs analysis.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $178,000-$265,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Responsibilities

Lead the design, analysis, and reporting of key insights through survey research.
Perform analyses of surveys and logs data using appropriate statistical techniques in Python / R.
Develop research reports that clearly articulate actionable insights to stakeholders.
Work closely with other research and insights teams to develop cohesive narratives and identify opportunities.
Collaborate with other UX researchers, product managers, data scientists, and software engineers to identify and prioritize research opportunities and maximize research impact.
